![]() ![]() In this case having a sub-dps is great, because subdps by definition can serve as impromptu forwards. (Do remember that if you go multiplayer and there are 4 players in the current instance, there is no character switching. Switching out for a "dedicated Cryo DPS" is how Shenhe was intended to be used for single player, although there are viable builds to make Shenhe a main forward. Bennet's Q IIRC uses unmodified attack for its bonus, which is a strict value. There are a couple of characters that use "snapshot" values like this instead of "strict" values. If you do it in the correct order (Bennet goes with Q first before Shenhe) this will actually cause Shenhe's E to be slightly more effective as it bases the bonus on the temporarily increased value of E. To stack buffs, basically have Bennet throw a Q, switch to Shenhe, then have her use E while inside the AOE of Bennets Q. (To be fair, Yae Miko's jaw is even more glass than hers, but there you go.) ![]() ![]() So the correct way to use her would be to throw E and then switch to Kaeya, but since most players build her with a +ATK stack and she benefits from her own stuff, she can be a somewhat decent frontliner - except for that glass jaw. It also does periodic tick damage, but we don't care about that, we care about the Res Downs. On Q, any enemy inside its AOE gets hit with Cryo Res Down and Physical Res Down. Helping this fact is that her internal ascend scale is also ATK. This bonus increases with each talent level. On E, whether the hits anyone or not, she grants bonus damage based on a percentage of her ATK stat to any Cryo damage source from your party (as long as they're within range when she does E), for the next 5 hits (7 if Held). Not to mention she's a really situational support instead of a general one like Bennet is. The trouble is that she's got a glass jaw (unless you decide to stop min-maxing and allow her some DEF pieces). Click to expand.Shenhe's the best Cryo support in the game, and because its Cryo (and Cryo Resonance we're talking about), this makes her an incidental sub-attacker. ![]()
